Who we are
This website is operated by VIKSONS TOOL HIRE LTD (company number 15786702), registered office: Chalice House, Bromley Road, Elmstead, Colchester, Essex, CO7 7BY. We are the data controller for any personal information you provide when you enquire, reserve equipment or open a trade account.
What we collect
Your name, contact details, delivery address, the equipment you hire and the dates you hire it. If you apply for a trade account we also collect company details and information needed for a credit check.
Why we collect it
To take and fulfil reservations, arrange delivery and collection, answer enquiries, maintain hire records for safety and insurance purposes, and invoice trade accounts.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers who help us run the business — payment processing, delivery and credit referencing where you apply for an account. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Hire and enquiry records are kept for six years to satisfy accounting and insurance requirements. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email the yard and we will respond within one month.

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your hire list. We do not use advertising cookies.
